I just got home from Cabot Cape Breton, and I'm still smiling.

Picture this: a group of women who love golf and love to move, playing one of the most beautiful courses I've ever seen, in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. And the bonus? It's home.

Why Cabot Cape Breton Takes Your Breath Away

Cabot sits on the west coast of Cape Breton Island in Inverness, Nova Scotia, with fairways that roll right along the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Golfers fly in from all over the world to play here, and the moment you step onto the first tee you understand why. The wind off the water, the dunes, the cliffs, the light at the end of the day... it's the kind of golf that makes you stop mid-round just to take it all in.

It's ranked among the best golf in the world, but what stays with you isn't a ranking. It's how it feels to stand out there with friends.

Hosted by a Local, Welcomed Like Family

One of my favourite parts of this trip was being hosted by a local woman and staying in her home. There is no hotel lobby in the world that compares to a kitchen table full of women swapping stories after a round.

That's where the real magic happened. We came as golfers and left as friends. Women who love moving their bodies, who love this game, and who say yes to life.

What This Summer Taught Me (Again)

Travelling the world to play golf has always been a dream of mine, and this past year it has become a reality. I'm so grateful for every opportunity this summer brought.

And every single trip teaches me the same lesson, over and over: the heart of my business is community.

Golf, fitness, movement and adventure are wonderful. But here's the truth: they're really the excuse. The real reward is being surrounded by like-minded women who love life and want to live it to the fullest. (If you want the backstory, I shared how this community started during lockdown.)
